While my early professional life began in the creative arts, it became clear that my passion was for whole body healing. For the past 25 years I have been consciously developing tools to work holistically in support of my clients’ mental and physical wellbeing. In 1994 I charted a course to first study the body as a massage therapist, then explore the connection between body and mind in my somatic psychotherapy training and practice, and finally weave the two together by becoming a homeopath. My goal is to use all the tools I have honed to support you in your healing and transformation.
My work as a therapist has been influenced and enriched by all my life experiences. I know the challenges of being a step-parent, the work it takes to sustain a supportive and nurturing relationship, the difficulties of job changes and elder care, and the delight in being a grandmother. I find support in my relationships with friends and family, seek balance by finding time to exercise and by being in nature as much as possible, and enjoy growing vegetables and flowers in my East Bay home.
Do not judge yourself harshly. Without mercy for ourselves we cannot love the world.
